Fluffy, nutty and easy to fall in love with: These pistachio cinnamon buns with Cucina roasted pistachios and super green pistachios from Farmer's Snack are the perfect soul food for cozy hours. The combination of fluffy yeast dough, a delicately melting cinnamon filling and the fine pistachio flavor makes for a real taste experience. Ingredients
For the pastry:
500 g flour
60 g sugar (or alternative of your choice)
1 sachet vanilla sugar
1 sachet Here (dry)
60 g butter
280 g milk
For the filling:
400 g pistachio cream
50 g Farmer's Snack Cucina Pistachios roasted
50g Farmer's Snack Cucina Pistachios super green
For the frosting:
100 g cream cheese
1 tbsp icing sugar
1 tbsp pistachio cream
Preparation
- For the dough, put the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and yeast in a bowl. Then heat the butter and milk and add to the bowl. Knead together for 5 minutes and then cover and leave to rest for 60 minutes. Then knead again and roll out into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- For the filling, roughly chop the pistachios (roasted and super green). Spread the pistachio cream over the dough and sprinkle with plenty of cinnamon and sugar and chopped pistachios.
- Cut the dough into wide strips, roll the strips into snails and divide again with a piece of string.
- Place all the rolls in a baking dish, pour over the milk and place in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 160 degrees.
- For the frosting, simply mix all the ingredients together, spread over the slightly cooled pistachio buns, top with pistachios and pistachio butter and enjoy.
