These nut bars with our Farmer's Snack trail mix combine fruity apricots, nutty notes and a hint of cinnamon to create an incomparable taste experience. With just a few ingredients and uncomplicated preparation, you can create delicious bars that you can indulge in at any time. Whether at home or on the go - these little treats are guaranteed to quickly become a favorite!
Ingredients
3 bananas
200 g rolled oats, fine
125 g Farmer's Snack trail mix without raisins
75 g Farmer's Snack apricots, sulphured or organic
1 teaspoon vanilla
Cinnamon to taste
Preparation
- Prepare the bananas: Mash the bananas in a large bowl with a fork to a fine pulp.
- Chop the ingredients: Roughly chop the Farmer's Snack trail mix and Farmer's Snack apricots so that the pieces fit well into the mixture but still retain some texture.
- Mix the ingredients together: Add the chopped ingredients to the bowl along with the rolled oats, vanilla and a pinch of cinnamon and mix everything thoroughly until a uniform mixture is formed.
- Prepare the baking tray: Line a baking tray with baking paper. Pour the mixture onto it and shape it evenly into a rectangle about 2 cm high. Make sure the surface is nice and smooth so that the bars bake evenly.
- Bake: Bake the dough in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for approx. 30 minutes. The mixture should be lightly golden brown and firm.
- Cut the bars: As soon as the mixture comes out of the oven, cut it into the desired bar shape with a sharp knife while still warm. Then leave to cool completely so that the bars have the right consistency.
