Ingredients
300 g dark chocolate
125 g butter
3 eggs (size M)
200 g brown sugar
1 sachet vanilla sugar
160 g flour (type 405)
1 pinch of salt
2 tbsp cocoa powder
250 g Farmer's Snack Organic Nut Mix x Brigitte
Preparation
- Melt the dark chocolate together with the butter in a pan over a low heat. Stir regularly until the mixture has melted completely.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the brown sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour with the salt and cocoa powder.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat (160 degrees fan).
- Grease a brownie tray (approx. 28.5 x 23 cm) or line with baking paper.
- Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture to the egg and sugar mixture and stir in briefly.
- Add the flour mixture and stir everything together until a homogeneous batter is formed.
- Roughly chop the nut mix and fold about half of it into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared brownie tin and smooth it out.
- Spread the remaining nut mix evenly over the batter.
- Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for around 20-23 minutes. Use a skewer test to check whether the brownies are done: A wooden skewer should only have scattered pieces of moist batter when gently pulled out.
- Leave the brownies to cool completely and then serve plain or with a scoop of ice cream. This quantity makes about 12 brownie pieces.
