These succulent treats, refined with an exciting nut mix, are the perfect blend of melt-in-the-mouth chocolate and crunchy nuts. Whether enjoyed on their own or with a scoop of ice cream, these brownies are a real taste sensation. Easy to prepare and ideal for any occasion.

Ingredients

300 g dark chocolate
125 g butter
3 eggs (size M)
200 g brown sugar
1 sachet vanilla sugar
160 g flour (type 405)
1 pinch of salt
2 tbsp cocoa powder
250 g Farmer's Snack Organic Nut Mix x Brigitte

Preparation

  1. Melt the dark chocolate together with the butter in a pan over a low heat. Stir regularly until the mixture has melted completely.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the brown sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour with the salt and cocoa powder.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat (160 degrees fan).
  5. Grease a brownie tray (approx. 28.5 x 23 cm) or line with baking paper.
  6. Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture to the egg and sugar mixture and stir in briefly.
  7. Add the flour mixture and stir everything together until a homogeneous batter is formed.
  8. Roughly chop the nut mix and fold about half of it into the batter.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared brownie tin and smooth it out.
  10. Spread the remaining nut mix evenly over the batter.
  11. Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for around 20-23 minutes. Use a skewer test to check whether the brownies are done: A wooden skewer should only have scattered pieces of moist batter when gently pulled out.
  12. Leave the brownies to cool completely and then serve plain or with a scoop of ice cream. This quantity makes about 12 brownie pieces.
