The apricot is a small fruit with lots of flavor. This jam idea shows that it can be used to conjure up some delicious treats.

Ingredients

Farmer's Snack Apricot200 g
fresh apricots200 g
orange juice100 ml
gelling sugar250 g

Preparation

  1. Roughly dice the dried and fresh apricots, place in a sufficiently large pan with the orange juice and sprinkle with the preserving sugar.
  2. Leave overnight (can be placed in the refrigerator, but this is not necessary).
  3. Boil for at least 5 - 10 minutes the next day, then roughly puree and bring to the boil again.
  4. Pour into jam jars while still hot and immediately put the lid on.
