You have probably already spotted some of them on our products: our seals provide guidance and communicate standards in terms of growing conditions, ingredients, and taste. In this regard, you will find both genuine classics (e.g. organic) and exclusive seals for our special Farmer's Snack products. Here we explain what each seal stands for!

At Farmer's Snack, 100% fruit means that these dried fruits are completely natural and contain no additives whatsoever. So you can look forward to a maximally natural, unadulterated taste.

InSalt

The blue InSalt seal from Farmer's Snack identifies roasted and salted nuts and nut mixes in the range. We use only high-quality sea salt. What makes it special is that our innovative, patented Farmer's Snack InSalt process puts the salt INSIDE the nut, so it doesn't stick to your fingers when you're snacking.

NoSalt

The red NoSalt seal from Farmer's Snack shows that this nut product is roasted but unsalted. Just like with the InSalt products, the nuts are roasted very gently in the company's own kettle, which creates the special roasted flavors of Farmer's Snack.

Naturally vegan

Farmer's Snack labels all products that are purely plant-based as vegan – meaning that no animal products are used in their entire cultivation and processing. Farmer's Snack has its own vegan seal for this purpose, which can be seen directly on the front of the packaging. This seal is subject to strict criteria and controls throughout the entire process – so we can promise you that: All processing and refinement steps are vegan, no additional additives, processing aids, carriers, flavors, or enzymes of animal origin are added to the product – Farmer's Snack does not use any hidden animal ingredients. All production aids are made from non-animal products and are vegan.

Origin projects

The Farmer's Snack origin projects also feature a picture of our managing director Cornelia Ahrens on their seal. We understand an origin project to be a long-term partnership that we have established with a partner in the country of origin of our raw materials. In addition to resource-saving cultivation and harvesting, these projects are primarily characterized by our social commitment on site. The advantages (among others) include sustainably good working and living conditions for employees in the country of origin and high product quality. One example is Farmer's Snack mangoes. This organic snack originates in Burkina Faso.

DLG-Gold

Most Farmer's Snack products have been awarded DLG Gold. In 2025, there were a total of 29 – all of them gold. To receive this seal of quality, products can be voluntarily submitted to the German Agricultural Society (DLG), where they undergo comprehensive testing by experts.

Organic products

Farmer's Snack organic products can be recognized by either the square German organic seal on the front or the European green organic seal on the back of the packaging. These seals guarantee the quality standard of raw materials that are subject to special controls due to their origin. However, Farmer's Smack's approach is to set even higher standards than organic in terms of sustainability and product quality. Our main focus is on offering natural snacks that delight the taste buds.
